My favorite horses
One of the first things Linda introduced me to after we got married was horseback riding. Then, for the next thirty five years we rode almost every day. I lose count of exactly how many horses we have known but three stand out as my favorites and I know two that make Linda’s favorites list. Paco takes first place. Paco was a born in captivity mustang who came to us very young and very green (untrained). We learned dressage from Anita, Garrocha from the internet and Spanish walk from JP Giacomini.

Tie, Cruzado and Press are next in my list of favorites, but they weren’t the first. While learning and making a few mistakes a few horses made their self known. Yosemite Sam and Veronica came and went. Next we traveled to a ranch just outside of Yosemite and bought a young Morgan called Vintage Press. Press was a real character and became a all around horse, riding and driving. Life got in the way and there were a few gaps in horse ownership but next was Paco; then a gap and Tango (AKA eeyore). Cruzado, an Azteca, was the final horse.
